Ronit Baranga (born 1973) is a contemporary artist, living and creating in Israel. Ronit creates figurative art on the border between living and still life, dealing with emotional states and relationships. Her work has been displayed in museums and galleries around the world and is a part of many museum and private collections. Key exhibitions include international museum shows in Taiwan and China, the Triennale Design Museum in Milan, Banksy’s Dismaland in the UK and solo exhibitions in Tel-Aviv (2017), New York (2017, 2018) and Australia (2018). Baranga holds a B.A. in Psychology and Literature from Haifa University, studied Art History in Tel-Aviv University, and Fine Arts in Beit Berl College.

What projects are you working on right now?
1. Solo exhibition for Beinart Gallery (Melbourne) in 2020. 2. Group exhibitions: Stoerpunkt Gallery (Munich), Booth Gallery (NYC), Haven Gallery w/ Beautiful Bizarre Magazine (NYC)
How do you keep yourself accountable in your practice?
Daily full time work in my studio. Every day I keep a "work in progress" to start with in with the next day.
How do you stay motivated to pursue your creative work?
Creating is a necessity for me. I just have to do it.
Where do you hope to be 10 years from now and what would you like to say to yourself?
I hope to make interesting art and I hope to exhibit it all over the world in relevant places. To myself: "Keep creating!"
